After eleven years of hard work and dedication behind the tables, Brian 'Docta' Dawe has established himself as one of the most noteworthy names in the southeastern nightclub circuit. He has been very active as a DJ, radio host, remix producer, event organizer, and promoter throwing hundreds of parties and playing over a thousand events. He has played multiple events with MTV and VH1 show cast members, Playboy playmates, and spun vinyl alongside or opened for countless popular acts. Rihanna, Ke$ha, Steve Aoki (twice), Avicii, Travie McCoy, Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship, Hyper Crush, Wolfgang Gartner, Ladytron, and 2 Live Crew are just a small sampling of artists he has shared the stage with. Dawe has rocked some of the biggest venues in the southeast including House of Blues Orlando, Ford Amphitheater Tampa, Beacham Theater Orlando, and Mekka Miami. He was the runner-up in the Orlando Redbull Thr3style contest (losing only to the nationwide contest winner) and a three time Ultra Music Festival performer. Dawe currently holds five DJ residencies across Florida including the world-renowned Icebar, Orlando. His trademark crowd-hyping, fist-pumping antics have become some of the most influential sights and sounds in Florida, from coast to coast. As of the summer of 2011, Dawe, a two time cancer survivor is healthy as ever. His focus continues to be on making music and living life to the fullest.
