Orlando and Chicago based DJ / Producer; James Anthony originally born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, he began his professional career at the early age of 17. Many sounds that began to influence his tough, funky and electro-fying beats were artists like Dj Bad Boy Bill, Alex Peace, and old friend Tony Arzadon a few front runners paving the way in Chicago’s House Music scene. With his move to Central Florida in the late 90’s, his discipline landed him several residencies throughout Orlando. Two if those venues being powerhouses such as NBC / Universal Studios Orlando and House of Blues / LiveNation Orlando for over 10 years were crowds reach 3,000 plus (pictured above). James has been pounding beats to thousands each week. His success behind the decks, from blazing through genres and having turntablist tricks led the path to many great experiences. Some being; guest spots on radio stations, producing a NBA Half Time Show Mix, not to mention the opportunity of performing with many artists such as the Stanton Warriors, Hybrid Theory, the band LIVE, Max Graham, Ferry Corsten, and Afrika Bambaataa to name a few. Aside from his residencies his demand stretches throughout the states to cities like Boston-Mass., Dallas-Texas, Los Angeles-California, Pittsburgh-PA, and Back in his hometown Chicago. Recently relocated back to Chicago, James keeps his sights set high working on production. His continued success as a DJ and time spent in the studio has been inspired by crowd reactions and the dedication to be a factor in the movement of electronic music.
